Introduction

Reiki has a lot to do with “energetic balance”. The GTC are also designed with this in mind. The GTC are also intended to create a balance between the Reiki student and the Reiki teacher, or to put it another way: a “balance”. This balance should be seen in terms of the greatest possible fairness for both sides. Neither the Reiki student nor the Reiki teacher should be disadvantaged in any way compared to the other. The Reiki teacher has therefore attached great importance to balanced conditions so that no one feels favored over the other. For this reason, the GTC are particularly transparent and described in great detail with regard to all possible situations, so that clear conditions are already in place in advance. However, if anything is not quite clear, please contact the Reiki teacher.

General terms and conditions

1) Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions (in short: GTC) apply between Ing. Peter Knopf, hereinafter referred to as “Reiki teacher” and the following persons, hereinafter referred to as “Reiki students”:

a) users/readers of the website reiki.cc
b) persons who communicate with the Reiki teacher in writing or verbally by email, telephone, text message, post or in person
c) persons who would like to book a seminar or consultation with the Reiki teacher, or have booked one, or are taking part in one, or have already taken part in one

These GTC always apply, unless another written agreement has been made and this change has been expressly agreed to by the Reiki teacher by means of his signature. The Reiki teacher reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The current GTC can always be found on the Reiki teacher’s website reiki.cc. The current status is always indicated at the end of the GTC by day/month/year. The GTC (and also the data protection information) are saved to an e-mail address at the same time. This means that all old versions can be traced without gaps if necessary.

The GTC also apply in particular if the Reiki student has not signed the Declaration of Consent (e.g. during an initial telephone consultation) or has not yet signed it (e.g. on arrival).

2) Copyright

The texts on the reiki.cc website are subject to the copyright of the Reiki teacher. The texts may not be copied, reproduced, made available or published on other websites or in other electronic or printed media and publications. Any form of further use of the texts is not permitted without the express written consent of the Reiki teacher.

Insofar as the texts on the reiki.cc website were not created by the Reiki teacher, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, third-party texts are therefore marked as such. Should the user/reader of the reiki.cc website nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, the Reiki teacher asks for a corresponding notification using the contact options under the heading “Contact”. The Reiki teacher will remove such content immediately upon becoming aware of any infringements.

The Reiki teacher has acquired the private and commercial rights of use for the photos in which he himself is depicted. Any form of further use of these photos is not permitted without the express written consent of the Reiki teacher.

The design of the certificates is also subject to the copyright of the Reiki teacher. Any form of further use of the design is not permitted.

3) Service – seminars

The Reiki teacher applies the traditional attunement rituals according to Dr. Mikao Usui in the seminars “Level 1”, “Level 2” and “Master Level” in order to be able to attune the Reiki student to the Reiki energy and the Reiki symbols. In the “Teacher Level”, the Reiki teacher teaches the Reiki student the exact procedures of the initiation rituals.

Furthermore, the Reiki teacher advises the Reiki student on the possible applications of Reiki or the Reiki symbols and what in particular should be taken into account. All this information is based on the experience and therefore the individual view of the Reiki teacher. It should be noted that the Reiki teacher cannot give any assurance or guarantee that the information is always complete, correct and up-to-date. Guarantees and warranty claims are therefore completely excluded. Furthermore, the Reiki teacher is not liable for direct and/or indirect damages of a material and/or immaterial nature that could arise from the use or non-use of the information provided, unless the damage was caused by intent and/or gross negligence on the part of the Reiki teacher.

At the end of the seminar, the Reiki student receives a certificate from the Reiki teacher. On this certificate, the Reiki teacher confirms with his signature that the Reiki student has been initiated into the respective Reiki level. If the Reiki student loses the certificate at a later date, the Reiki teacher will issue a new certificate with the same data as the first one. The certificate is not sent by e-mail, but must be collected in person from the Reiki teacher. If the identity of the Reiki student cannot be clearly established, the certificate will only be issued on presentation of an official photo ID. Furthermore, it should be noted that the Reiki teacher will only issue a new certificate as long as, firstly, he has a valid business license and, secondly, the Reiki student has not arranged for his data, including the scan of his certificate, to be permanently deleted for data protection reasons. Furthermore, the Reiki teacher will issue a new certificate a maximum of once. The same applies to a new issue of the Declaration of Consent and/or the invoice. In the event of loss, the Reiki student will receive a printout of the registered Declaration of Consent and/or invoice a maximum of once, provided that the documents are still available (automatic deletion of the Declaration of Consent and the invoice after expiry of the specified deadlines). The documents must be collected in person and will only be handed over on presentation of an official photo ID if the identity of the applicant cannot be clearly established.

The duration of the individual seminars is:
Level 1: 2x approx. two hours
Level 2: 2x approx. two hours, or 1x approx. four hours
Master Level: 1x approx. three hours
Teacher Level: 1x approx. six hours

“Approx.” is to be understood as plus/minus ½ hour. A concrete end can never be predicted due to the questions that arise and their answers during the seminar.

The Reiki teacher reserves the right to change the duration of the seminars at any time or to discontinue them completely, unless a seminar has already been paid for by the Reiki student.

4) Service – Consulting

The Reiki teacher advises the Reiki student free of charge before and after the seminar, provided that the time spent remains within a maximum of ½ hour in each case. Advice is provided exclusively by telephone before the seminar and either by telephone or in person after the seminar.

The Reiki teacher also advises Reiki students free of charge who do not book a seminar with him. In this case, the same condition applies, namely a maximum of ½ hour. In this case, the consultation will only take place by telephone.

The Reiki teacher reserves the right to refuse a Reiki student without giving reasons. This is particularly the case if the Reiki teacher suspects that the Reiki student is using different telephone numbers for the sole purpose of repeatedly taking advantage of the free half-hour consultation.

If the Reiki student wishes further consultations, the following price applies under the following conditions: 150,- Euro for one hour. The price will be charged in full, even if the consultation is shorter due to the free decision of the Reiki student, force majeure or the fault of a third party. The same conditions (signing the Declaration of Consent before the start of the consultation, payment, cancellation conditions, confidentiality, etc.) apply analogously as in the case of booking seminars. If further/longer consultations are required, a new appointment must be made. A consultation will only take place once a day for a maximum of one hour.

Final note: home visits for Reiki students with restricted mobility are not offered during consultations.

5) Delimitations

Human energetics is a free trade with the trade license wording:

“Assistance in achieving physical or energetic balance … by gently touching the body or laying hands on specific areas of the body” (source of the text: wko).

The Reiki teacher acts fully in accordance with this business license. The Reiki initiations of the Reiki teacher therefore serve exclusively to activate energies (or also: “energy vibrations”, “energy frequencies”, “energy fields”, “life energy”, or similar terms). All statements made by the Reiki teacher are to be understood as a description of these energies.

The Reiki teacher makes it very clear that he is not a doctor, healer or therapist. The Reiki teacher expressly states that he never associates Reiki with “healing” and therefore does not make any promises of healing. The Reiki student is therefore explicitly advised that only a licensed health professional (doctor, therapist, psychologist …) may/can “heal”.

All information about Reiki, the attunements to Reiki and the subsequent application of Reiki therefore do not replace a medical diagnosis and/or treatment. Should the Reiki student feel ill or be ill, the Reiki teacher strongly recommends contacting a licensed healthcare professional as soon as possible. The decision to begin, continue or change any medical or therapeutic treatment is the sole responsibility of the licensed healthcare professional.

Furthermore: the Reiki teacher does not diagnose illnesses, recommend or prescribe medications, or recommend suspending or stopping medications completely. Medication is only diagnosed, recommended and prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional. If the Reiki student has been prescribed medication, the Reiki teacher expressly recommends that the compatibility of the medication with Reiki be clarified in advance with a licensed healthcare professional.

6) Guarantees/warranties

Everyone reacts differently to the attunement rituals. Some people feel something, some do not. Individual reactions are beyond the control of the Reiki teacher. It can also happen that noticeable changes only occur at a later point in time. Furthermore, it is not within the Reiki teacher’s sphere of influence or responsibility what expectations the Reiki student has of the attunement rituals or the application of Reiki or the Reiki symbols. The Reiki teacher therefore cannot guarantee results or successes that are individually expected by the Reiki student.

The service of the Reiki teacher is therefore exclusively the practice of the initiation rituals (Level 1, Level 2, Master Level), the transfer of knowledge about the initiation rituals (Teacher Level) and the advice on the application possibilities of the Reiki energy and the Reiki symbols. Success is not owed and guarantees and warranty claims are completely excluded.

It is therefore expressly pointed out once again that the effectiveness and success of Reiki have not been proven according to current scientific knowledge.

7) Responsibility

The Reiki student is responsible for determining whether he or she is physically and mentally capable of receiving the attunements to the Reiki energy and the Reiki symbols. The attunements require a “normal” physical and mental condition. “Normal” means that a person is able to carry out everyday activities independently and on their own responsibility without any significant limitations. The Reiki student is also clearly informed that the activation of the energies (the Reiki energy and the energy of the Reiki symbols) as a result of the attunements can lead to an initial worsening of physical and/or emotional and/or mental symptoms. The Reiki teacher can therefore not be held responsible for possible initial aggravations of physical and/or emotional and/or mental symptoms or for direct and/or indirect material and/or immaterial damage after the attunements. Furthermore, the Reiki student is responsible for any use or non-use of Reiki and the Reiki symbols after the attunements. It is not the responsibility of the Reiki teacher whether and for how long and in what form the Reiki student uses the Reiki energy and the Reiki symbols, or how he communicates Reiki in general or in detail to third parties. The Reiki teacher explains his way of working and his view of Reiki both on this website and in his book in clear and understandable terms. Other statements or ways of working by the Reiki student are the sole responsibility of the Reiki student. Furthermore, the Reiki teacher cannot be held liable for any damage caused to the Reiki student during arrival or departure. The Reiki student is solely responsible for a safe arrival and departure. If, however, the Reiki student suffers damage on the Reiki teacher’s premises during the seminar (e.g. fall down the stairs, cat bite, etc.), the Reiki teacher points out that he has taken out professional liability insurance, which will decide on how to proceed in the event of a claim. Whether, when and how damages are compensated is neither within the sphere of influence of the Reiki teacher, nor can and will he make any statements in this regard.

And finally: as the Reiki teacher also provides vegan snacks at the Teacher’s Level, it is the responsibility of the Reiki student to inform the Reiki teacher in advance of any intolerances.

8) Payment

The seminar price is to be paid in advance to the Reiki teacher, either in cash before the start of the seminar or by bank transfer to the Reiki teacher’s account. The amount must be credited to the Reiki teacher’s account at least three working days before the start of the seminar. The account number will be sent to the Reiki student by e-mail or telephone. The Reiki teacher reserves the right not to provide the account number to the Reiki student. In this case, only cash payment is possible.

In return, the Reiki student receives an invoice at the beginning of the seminar with confirmation that the seminar has been paid for in cash or via the account.

The following applies to cash payments: the Reiki teacher only accepts 10, 20, 50 and 100 euro banknotes. 200 and 500 euro banknotes are not accepted. Furthermore, no foreign currencies are accepted.

The prices for the individual levels are:
Level 1: 600,- euro
Level 2: 700,- euro
Master Level: 800,- euro
Teacher Level: 900,- euro
Master/Teacher Level combi: 1500,- euro

The amounts quoted are VAT-free due to the small business regulation.
If there is a possibility of full or partial reimbursement of the seminar price from the Reiki student’s health insurance or insurance company, it is the sole responsibility of the Reiki student to take care of these matters. The Reiki teacher points out that he has no influence whatsoever on any reimbursement possibilities and does not carry these out for the Reiki student.

The Reiki teacher reserves the right to change the prices at any time. However, if a Reiki student has already made an appointment for a seminar with the Reiki teacher, the price at the time of making the appointment applies, regardless of whether the Reiki teacher has changed the price in the time between making the appointment and the start of the seminar. The fixed price applies for a maximum of three weeks from the date of the appointment. If the appointment is made at a later date, the new price applies.

9) Individual prices

On the one hand, the Reiki teacher does not offer discounts for senior citizens or students, and on the other hand, no surcharges for high earners or millionaires. Every person is treated “equally” by the Reiki teacher, regardless of their world view, their professional activity, religious beliefs or the thickness of their wallet, and accordingly there are only standardized prices.

The only exception is the Master/Teacher Level combi, because this means that the Reiki teacher has less work to do in preparing and following up the two seminars. For this reason, everyone receives an equal discount.

10) Booking of seminars

Appointments for the seminars are agreed informally verbally or in writing between the Reiki teacher and the Reiki student. No signature or other special agreement or confirmation is required. Furthermore, the agreed appointment can be postponed by either party at any time. However, the Reiki teacher will only accept a maximum of one postponement by the Reiki student, regardless of whether this postponement was caused by free decision, force majeure or a third party.

11) Participation requirements

If a Reiki student books Level 2, the Master Level or the Teacher Level with the Reiki teacher, the Reiki teacher needs the certificate of the previous Reiki level into which the Reiki student was initiated (e.g. the certificate of Level 1 if the Reiki student wants to book Level 2 with the Reiki teacher). Of course, this only applies if the Reiki student has previously completed the previous Reiki level with another Reiki teacher. This certificate must be sent to the Reiki teacher in advance by e-mail, or taken along personally at the agreed appointment. Without this certificate, the Reiki teacher cannot initiate the Reiki student into the next higher level. If the Reiki student does not have a certificate, the Reiki teacher must be given other credible proof that he or she has already been initiated into the respective level. If this is not possible, the Reiki teacher reserves the right not to initiate the Reiki student to the next higher level.

At the beginning of the seminar, the Reiki student receives a form (the “Declaration of Consent”) on which the Reiki student confirms with two signatures that he has read the General Terms and Conditions (signature 1) and the data protection information (signature 2) on the reiki.cc website in full, that the contents are comprehensible and understandable for him, that there are no further questions and that he agrees with all contents. The following data is required on the Declaration of Consent: first name(s), last name, academic title(s) (if applicable), home address, email address, telephone number, date and which Reiki level the Reiki student is being initiated into. The seminar cannot be started without signing the Declaration of Consent. The Reiki student undertakes to provide truthful information.

The Reiki teacher reserves the right to refuse a Reiki student without giving reasons. In particular, if he has the impression that the Reiki student is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, psychotropic drugs or other substances that cloud or expand consciousness. Or if the Reiki teacher suspects that the Reiki student is in some other unsuitable physical, emotional or mental state.

In the case of minors, the Reiki teacher also decides whether or not to accept the minor as a Reiki student. For minors, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required in advance for participation in the seminar. The same applies to persons for whom an adult representative (e.g. guardian) is required.

12) Cancellation policy

Until the Declaration of Consent is signed, both the Reiki teacher and the Reiki student can cancel the appointment at no cost. In the case of a cash payment before the start of the seminar, the Reiki student will be refunded the full amount immediately. In the case of an advance transfer to the Reiki teacher’s account, the Reiki teacher will transfer the full amount back to the Reiki student’s account within three working days.

Once the Declaration of Consent has been signed, no refund of the seminar price is possible, regardless of when the Reiki student ends the seminar (whether by choice, force majeure, or through the fault of a third party – with the exception of the Reiki teacher).

Special agreements of the individual levels:
For Level 1, the attunements take place on two consecutive days. If the Reiki student allows more than 48 hours (= two days) to pass in between, an effective attunement can no longer be guaranteed. In this case, the initiations of day 1 must be repeated and the full seminar price must be paid again.
For Level 2, it does not matter if there are several days in between, because Level 2 involves three attunements that work independently of each other. However, it is agreed that no more than three weeks may lie between the two days. Should the Reiki student therefore allow more than three weeks to pass between the two appointments, a new seminar must be started and the full seminar price must be paid again.

If a Reiki student wishes to book the Master Level and Teacher Level as a “combination”, the Reiki teacher offers a price reduction of 200 euros (100 euros per seminar). This only applies if there are a maximum of three days between the Master and Teacher Level. If the Reiki student allows more than three days to elapse, the price reduction is forfeited and the Reiki student must pay the Reiki teacher 200 euros in addition to the 1500 euros already paid before the start of the second (Teacher Level) appointment (If the Reiki student does not agree to this, the Reiki student will be refunded 700 euros and the teacher degree will no longer take place). Furthermore, the Teacher Level must take place within three weeks of signing the Declaration of Consent. If this deadline is also exceeded by the Reiki student, a refund is no longer possible and the Reiki student can make a new appointment for the Teacher Level. In this case, the Teacher Level must be paid for again (individual price of the Teacher Level: 900 euros).

If, conversely, the Reiki teacher is not able to complete the second day of Level 1 within three days or the second day of Level 2 within three weeks, the Reiki student will either be refunded the full seminar price or can start again on day 1 at no extra cost. In this case, the Reiki student decides which option he or she would like.

If the Reiki teacher is unable to hold the second appointment (Teacher Level) within three days for the Master/Teacher Level combi, the Reiki student will be refunded 800 euros to his account within the next three working days, which means that the Reiki student has ultimately only paid the reduced combination price (700 euros) for the completed Master Level.

However, if the Reiki teacher is at fault, the price reduction remains in place for three months from the signing of the Declaration of Consent. This means that the Reiki student can book the Teacher Level again within three months for 800 euros.

The following applies to all four levels (individual seminars – not the Master/Teacher Level combi): if the Reiki teacher ends a seminar prematurely (prematurely = before half of the seminar time has elapsed, e.g. before three hours for the Teacher Level), the Reiki student will be refunded the full seminar price, or a new alternative appointment will be arranged within three weeks at no further cost to the Reiki student. The Reiki teacher and Reiki student will agree on a solution together. If no unanimous solution is possible, the Reiki teacher will refund the entire seminar price to the Reiki student (if the Reiki student has paid in cash, he gets the money back in cash. If the money is transferred to the Reiki teacher’s account in advance, the Reiki student will receive the money back into his account within three days) and no further appointment will take place.

The following applies to the Master/Teacher Level combi: if the Reiki teacher ends the seminar prematurely on the first day (Master Level), the Reiki student will be refunded the full seminar price (1500 euros). If the Reiki teacher ends the seminar prematurely on the second day (Teacher Level), the Reiki student will be refunded the reduced price for the Teacher Level (800 euros).

In this context, it is expressly pointed out that all costs incurred or to be incurred by the Reiki student in addition to the seminar price shall be borne by the Reiki student. The risk of complete or partial cancellation of a seminar by the Reiki student or by the Reiki teacher, or that the Reiki teacher rejects the Reiki student without giving reasons, is always borne by the Reiki student. All costs incurred or payments already made (e.g. travel costs, accommodation costs, etc.) can therefore not be charged to the Reiki teacher.

13) Special regulation for Reiki students with restricted mobility

The Reiki teacher also offers “home visits” for Reiki students with restricted mobility. In this case, the Reiki student receives a non-binding flat-rate offer in advance. This offer includes, among other things, the costs incurred by the Reiki teacher for travel to and from the session, hotel costs, etc. If the Reiki student agrees to the offer, it is agreed that the Reiki student will send the signed Declaration of Consent to the Reiki teacher in advance by e-mail. Only then will the Reiki student be informed of the Reiki teacher’s account number. The Reiki student then transfers the amount of the offer plus the full seminar price as a total amount to the Reiki teacher’s account. The total amount must be credited to the Reiki teacher’s account at least one week before the agreed appointment.

Cancellation conditions: once the total amount has been credited to the Reiki teacher’s account, no further refunds – not even pro rata – are possible. If, due to the fault of the Reiki student (regardless of whether this is the result of a free decision, force majeure or the fault of a third party), the agreed appointment does not materialize, or if a seminar that has been started is terminated at any time, no refund is possible. This also applies if the Reiki student wishes to postpone the agreed appointment to another day. A postponement of an agreed appointment is only possible up to a maximum of three hours. If the Reiki student wishes to postpone the appointment for more than three hours, the appointment is also deemed not to have taken place and no refund is possible.

If, in the opposite case, the Reiki teacher is unable to travel, the Reiki student will be refunded the full amount within three working days. Once the Reiki teacher has arrived at the Reiki student’s home, no refund of the total amount is possible, even if the Reiki teacher does not start the seminar or ends it at any time beforehand.

It is expressly pointed out that the cancellation regulations from the special agreements from point 10 and 12 do not apply in point 13. Likewise, the option of making a new appointment under point 14 does not apply.

Furthermore, the Reiki teacher reserves the right to refuse a home visit in advance. In this case, the Reiki student will not receive an offer.

14) Delays

The Reiki teacher asks for punctuality at an agreed appointment. Punctuality is an important value for the Reiki teacher because punctuality shows high esteem for the other person. The only exception is force majeure (e.g. traffic accident). Therefore, if it is foreseeable that the Reiki student will be more than ½ hour late due to force majeure, the agreed appointment is considered canceled and can be rescheduled once again (see point 10).

15) Image, film and sound recordings

Image, film and sound recordings are not permitted during the entire seminar, or sound recordings during telephone conversations, even if the recordings are only made for personal use. Violations will be reported to the police without exception.

Two exception for image recordings: firstly, image recordings are permitted if copies of the Declaration of Consent, the invoice and the certificate cannot be made due to technical problems with the photocopier. In this case, pictures of the three documents must be taken for the purpose of documentation for the Reiki teacher. Secondly, if due to damage (see point 7) pictures of the damage must be taken for further steps for the insurance company.

16) Confidentiality

In any communication, especially during a seminar, it is possible that personal information may be disclosed at your own request. However, this does not imply the conclusion that this information may then be passed on to other persons. It is therefore understood that neither the Reiki teacher nor the Reiki student may disclose personal information to third parties.

17) Use of the reiki.cc website

The Reiki teacher checks all information provided on the reiki.cc website at appropriate intervals to ensure that it is complete, correct and up-to-date. However, the Reiki teacher cannot give any assurance or guarantee that the information is always complete, correct and up-to-date at “every” point in time. The Reiki teacher is therefore not liable for any damages that may arise from the use or non-use of the information provided. Liabilities of any kind, guarantees and warranty claims are therefore completely excluded.

The reiki.cc website contains cross-references (hyperlinks) to third-party websites. These cross-references are marked accordingly and open in a new window. The operators/providers of these websites are solely responsible for the content and compliance with data protection, as well as the technical freedom from interference or the risk of viruses, Trojans, etc. of these websites. The cross-references were checked for possible violations of applicable law at the time of linking. These were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, permanent monitoring of the content of the cross-references is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. Should the user/reader of the reiki.cc website become aware of an infringement of the law, the Reiki teacher asks for a corresponding notification using the contact options under the heading “Contact”. The Reiki teacher will remove the cross-reference immediately upon becoming aware of any legal infringements. The Reiki teacher points out unequivocally that by merely making the hyperlinks available, he does not adopt the contents of third party websites as his own or wish to create the impression that the contents of third party websites originate from him. The Reiki teacher has no influence on the content of third party websites, nor is he responsible for the information provided at any given time. For incomplete, incorrect or illegal content, as well as for damages resulting from the use or non-use of information from third-party websites, the operator/provider of the website to which reference is made is solely liable. The use of cross-references is therefore always at the user’s/reader’s own risk on the reiki.cc website.

If operators/providers of third-party websites wish to make a cross-reference from their website to the reiki.cc website, written consent from the Reiki teacher is required in advance.

Furthermore: nor does the Reiki teacher guarantee that the reiki.cc website will be available at all times or that it will be free from technical faults. Liabilities of any kind, guarantees and warranty claims are therefore completely excluded.

And as a final point: the Reiki teacher expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete the contents of the reiki.cc website in part or in full at any time without prior notice, or to temporarily or permanently cease publication of the reiki.cc website.

18) Use of the contact options

The Reiki student can contact the Reiki teacher using the technical possibilities available today. This can be done in writing (e-mail, SMS, post) or verbally (telephone). In this context, the Reiki teacher clearly points out that even with the utmost care, emails can be hacked, telephones tapped and letters opened. If the Reiki student has concerns and worries about this (in particular with regard to data protection), the Reiki teacher recommends that the Reiki student does not use these communication channels.

Furthermore, the following is hereby clearly and unambiguously pointed out: the disclosure of the contact options does not authorize the unsolicited sending of advertising information/materials, Spam and the like, as well as for business initiation of any kind. The sending of advertising information/materials, Spam and the like, as well as for business initiation of any kind, regardless of the communication channel, is hereby expressly prohibited. In this context, the contact details of the Reiki teacher are also entered in the ECG and Robinson list. In the event of non-compliance, the Reiki teacher reserves the right to take immediate legal action.

The contact options may therefore only be used by the following persons and institutions:
a) Reiki students who wish to take advantage of the services (initiations and consultations) offered by the Reiki teacher
b) Persons and institutions who, together with the Reiki teacher, wish to promote awareness of the Reiki system according to Dr. Mikao Usui in the world, provided that this does not incur any costs for the Reiki teacher
c) Institutions (authorities, courts and the like) that must contact the Reiki teacher on a legal basis

19) Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

The GTC are subject to Austrian law.
The place of jurisdiction is the court in Vienna, which has local and subject-matter jurisdiction.

20) Dispute resolution

Consumers have the option of submitting complaints to the European Commission’s online dispute resolution service:

However, it should be noted that traders are generally not obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure.

Furthermore, consumers in Austria can also contact the following bodies, for example:
Internet ombudsman
Arbitration for consumer transactions

21) Final provision / severability clause

Should parts of the GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the remaining provisions. All other provisions shall remain in force.
